Reasons for Poor Molding of Ring Die Pellet Mill

There are many reasons for the poor molding of ring die pellet mill. Today, let’s see the reasons and solutions. Major factors for working efficiency of ring die pellet machine are material kind, water content, particle size, molding pressure, shape and size of mold. To deal different materials, ring die pellet mill can work differently.

Straws and tree skin are easy to be suppressed. Since lignin content in wood is quite high, we need to heat materials during the cooling work of ring die pellet mill. If temperature is in from 90℃ to 110℃, ring die pellet machine will work in an effective way. To deal different materials, ring die pellet machine is required to use different mold.

In general, materials with smaller size are easy to be suppressed. While, for those large-sized materials, they are difficult to be suppressed. Particle size of raw materials can influence the working efficiency of ring die pellet mill and product quality. If raw materials are relatively large, ring die pellet machine will have high energy consumption, small output and low working efficiency.

But, if raw materials have uneven size, finished products will have poor strength, poor density and be easy to crack. Therefore, reasonable size of raw materials is one of the necessary situations for work of ring die pellet machine. In general, size of raw materials should be better controlled at the one fourth of pellets.
