If input shaft can not revolve, we can confirm that the reducer is locking. Reasons for the locking of reducer have two kinds: one is the lack of lubricating oil and the other is long-term, high-temperature and over-load revolution. How to avoid this? If we find the oil pressure, oil temperature and oil flow in reducer are abnormal, we need to clean the filter and nozzle tip.
Do not to lubricate them after the cleaning work. To lubricate the bearings in reducer, we can adopt the splashing way. The lubricants should take one third of whole bearing space. When we find that air ventilating holes of reducer are blocked, we should dismantle the filter and clean it for air change.
If temperature rise of oil in reducer exceeds 80℃, there will be abnormal noise. When we hear the noise, we should stop the work of wood pellet mill, check the failure and change the lubricating oil. During the working process of reducer, output shaft should run. If it does not run, we should blame this failure to the damage of key joint and dismantle the reducer for check.
