1) Heat reactive fodder  Materials like lactose, whey mist with the tendency to be more cohesive after being heated is beneficial to improve the pelleting output. While when the heating temperature is higher than 60℃, coking would appear and consequentially the die hole of pellet making machine would be blocked. So mild water is the first choice to temper this kind of fodder.

2) Mineral substance  Inorganic fodder without cohesive power nearly has features of poor pelleting quality and efficiency. Thus binders like honey should be injected into inorganic materials in order to improve the pelleting performance and develop the output of pellet mill press machine.

3) Material moisture  During the pelleting process, materials with high water content is easy to cause the consequences that particle fodder is poor in output and quality because of the decreased steam addition and pelleting temperature. At the same time, due to the high moisture, materials to be fed in pelletizing machine are difficult to be tempered and easy to slip between the inner wall of ring die and compression roller, finally cause the ring die to be blocked. Thus the general demand for water content in materials should be below 13% before tempering.
