As one of the four machines in feed machinery, sawdust pellet mill plays an important role in feed industry. At present, even though suppliers of feed machinery make a larger progress in designing and manufacturing the sawdust pellet mill, they still need to work more for continuously upgrading the outlook and performance.
By studying the technologies for optimizing the mechanical performance and structure of sawdust pellet mill, we can improve its competitive power around the world, make the whole feed machinery run at a large step. Through the mechanism analysis and numerical analysis, we make the optimal computation on structure of sawdust pellet mill and verify the results through experiments.
As results show that, this optimization can improve the working efficiency and pellet quality. The detailed work includes the following aspects. The first one is making the analytical calculation on structural parameters of sawdust pellet mill. The second one is analyzing the relationship between diameter of ring die and press roller as well as working efficiency.
Analysis on the stress state and wear condition of press roller and ring die is also included in this part. The third one is finishing the experiment on width and linear speed of ring die. As results show that, optional grouping between width and linear speed of ring die can make the energy consumption as small as possible and working efficiency as high as possible.
