Taking corn straw as raw materials for making molding experiment, we respectively change the factors like water content and size of raw materials as well as molding pressure. By comparing the experimental results, we can find out the optimums of every factor for molding work. These optimums are good for us to improve the pellet quality and pelletizing ratio of ring die pellet mill.
We can use the crushing method to make straw material with different sizes. We can use tools to cut down the size of straw materials. Traditional crushing devices are classified into crusher and mill. This classification is based on the size of crushed straws. Crusher can decrease the size of raw materials to 3mm larger.
While, mill can decrease the size of raw materials to 3mm smaller. According to the purposes and structure, we can classify the crusher to following types: jaw crusher, cone crusher and hammer crusher. To crush the agricultural straw, we mostly use hammer crusher. By using the screen, we can get the crushed straws with three kinds of size: 10mm smaller, 10-20mm, 20-30mm.
